Queen of the Blender

I will admit, I have never been a wiz in the kitchen.  My mom is an amazing cook but I just never quite grasped the concept.  If the ingredient list was too extensive or the prep time was too long...I seemed to lose interest FAST!  Plus... I just never felt like I had extra time in the day to whip up amazing complicated recipes!  So we eat a lot of grilled chicken, fish, salads and steamed veggies. Quick, easy and healthy is my motto.  

One thing I HAVE mastered however is the blender!  I LOVE dreaming up new Shakeology recipes!  It all starting innocently a little over a year ago...just some Chocolate Shakeo, 1/2 of a banana, some almond milk and ice.  After about a week I knew this was THE shake for our family.  Hubby liked it, kids loved it...I found a winner!

Then I started experimenting to help curb my hubbys sweet tooth...Thin Mint, Turtle, Almond Joy, Peanut Butter Cup, the list goes on!  Here is the super cool part...After a year of drinking these delicious cravings crushers Jim has lost 20 lbs and his cholesterol is down 25 points.
